Tyler Parks and Recreation will host the annual Easter Egg-Stravaganza on Thursday, April 2, at Lindsey Park, located at 12557 Spur 364 W.
The entertainment begins at 6 p.m. and concludes with the egg hunts on the softball fields. Children are encouraged to bring their own baskets to participate.
The event will include a variety of family-friendly activities such as a live DJ, face painting, putt-putt, a balloon artist, vendor booths with games, a golden egg scavenger hunt, a photo op and a jellybean contest. Food trucks will be on site for guests to purchase food and drinks.
The egg hunts are categorized by age groups:
Hunt times are subject to change depending on circumstances. Only one group at a time will hunt. Parents are not allowed on the field during hunt time, except during the Special Needs & four-and-under group time slot. Lights will remain on during all hunts.
The adult egg hunt is first-come, first-served and requires a wristband. Wristbands can be picked up at the information table on event day. The hunt will start at 8:15 p.m., and ticket prizes can be claimed at the information table immediately after, until 9 p.m. Tickets are required to claim prizes.
