2026 Brush Collection Season Has Started; Get Your Brush Set-Out Schedule Today

The 2026 brush collection season is underway for some neighborhoods. When you should set out your brush for pickup depends on where you live.

Each neighborhood has different set-out dates.

Check your set-out dates before you stack brush out for pickup.

Go to our brush collection website. Type your address into the form. You will see the dates when to put out your brush for pickup.

The date you will see on the website is the day when you should put brush out for pickup. Crews arrive for pickup sometime during the work week following your set-out date.

What is Brush?

Brush is sticks, limbs, and branches you have cut from trees, shrubs, or bushes.

The pieces must be between 18 inches and 8 feet long and less than 8 inches in diameter.

Brush is not lumber, fencing, or any similar wood product.

How to Set Your Brush Out for Pickup

  • Stack brush on the terrace, or the grass at the edge of the street. Do not put brush in the street or on the sidewalk.
  • Keep brush at least 4 feet away from trees, cars, utility poles, mailboxes, fire hydrants, and other obstructions.
  • Do not put brush in bags, boxes, or other containers.
  • Stack brush with the cut ends facing the same direction.

What happens to the brush after pickup?

It is turned into wood mulch.
