Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs presides over certificate presentation ceremony of American teaching assistants under Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship Program

On 24 September 2025, H.E. Mr. Vijavat Isarabhakdi, Advisor to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the Chairman of the Board of the Thailand - U.S. Educational Foundation (Fulbright Thailand), presided over the Certificate Presentation Ceremony held in honor of the Fulbright English Teaching Assistants (ETAs). The ceremony recognized the contributions of the outgoing ETAs, who have completed their year-long assignments in Thailand, while also welcoming a new cohort of ETAs, who will soon begin their teaching placements in various provinces across Thailand.

The Advisor praised the significant role of the ETAs, not only as educators but also as ambassadors linking traditions, cultures, and values. The program aims to enhance Thai students' English language skills, support educational collaboration between Thai teachers and ETAs, and provide American participants with immersive experiences in Thai society, culture and daily life.

Fulbright Thailand was established under an agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand and the U.S. Department of State on 1 July 1950, to promote mutual knowledge and understanding between Thailand and the U.S. through academic exchanges and the development of cultural understanding.
