State Route 4 - Ramp & Lane Closures
Overnight Ramp Closures On Crosstown Freeway In Stockton

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 4 (SR-4)/Crosstown Freeway for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, intermittent full off-ramp closures from westbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway at Navy Drive for striping operations beginning Sunday, September 21, through Friday, September 26, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, intermittent full off-ramp closures from eastbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway at Stanislaus Street for striping operations beginning Monday, September 22, through Friday, September 26, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, intermittent full off-ramp closures from westbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway at Stanislaus Street for striping operations beginning Sunday, September 21, through Monday, September 22, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Wilson Way to westbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway for pavement work beginning Monday, September 22, through Friday, September 26, from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, intermittent full off-ramp closures from eastbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway at Wilson Way for striping operations beginning Sunday, September 21, through Friday, September 26, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Filbert Street to westbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway for pavement work beginning Monday, September 22, through Friday, September 26, from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Alternating lane closures on SR-4/Farmington Road at Walker Lane for utility work beginning Monday, September 22, through Friday, September 26, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Interstate 5 - Lane & Ramp Closures
Closures From Route 132 To Sacramento County Line

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full connector ramp closures from northbound I-5 to SR-132 for bridge work beginning Sunday, September 21, through Friday, September 26, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, intermittent full off-ramp closures from northbound and southbound I-5 at March Lane and from southbound I-5 at Alpine Avenue for striping operations beginning Sunday, September 21, through Friday, September 26, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Sunday, September 21, through Saturday, September 27, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
  • Overnight, alternating full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Sunday, September 21, through Saturday, September 27, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).

The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. State Route 88 - One-Way Traffic Control
Daytime Lane Closures For Tree Work

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 88 (SR-88) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • One-way traffic control from White Lane to Fairchild Lane for tree work on Monday, September 22, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control from Alpine Road to Boggiano Road for tree work on Monday, September 22, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.

State Route 99 - Over-Crossing Closure
Long-Term Closure Of Frontage Road Over-Crossing For Repairs

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 99 (SR-99) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Long-term full closure of the Calaveras River/Frontage Road Overcrossing of SR-99 due to bridge repair work. Estimated completion date is November 2025. Please seek alternate route.

Interstate 580 - Ramp Closures
Closures At Patterson Pass Road For Construction

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 580 (I-580) for maintenance and construction operations. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures on eastbound I-580 at Patterson Pass for construction work beginning Sunday, September 21, through Friday, September 26, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on and off-ramp closures on westbound I-580 at Patterson Pass for construction work beginning Sunday, September 21, through Friday, September 26, from 7:00 p.m. until 3:30 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
