Animal Resources to Host Low-Cost Veterinary Clinic

As part of the county's efforts to support pet owners and ensure pets receive the care they need, Alachua County Animal Resources (ACAR) is partnering with Sweetwater Veterinary Clinic to host a low-cost veterinary clinic for pets on March 21, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the county's animal shelter (3400 NE 53rd Ave., Gainesville).

The clinic will offer affordable services to help pet owners maintain the health and well-being of their furry family members. Services include:

• Vaccinations starting at $35
• Microchipping for $35
• Preventive medications starting at $20
• Infectious disease testing starting at $50
  

Appointments are encouraged to help reduce wait times, but walk-ins are welcome.
