The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City released the July Services Survey today. According to Cortney Cowley, assistant vice president and Oklahoma City Branch executive, results from the survey showed that Tenth District services activity increased moderately in July, while growth in expectations for future activity remained elevated.

"Growth in regional services activity rose from last month, and nearly half of firms expected demand to be higher for the rest of the year," said Cowley. "The majority of firms reported decreases in profit margins since the start of the year but expected revenue growth to remain strong."

A summary of the July survey is below. The July survey incorporates new seasonal adjustment factors using Census X-13 ARIMA-SEATS, so historical indexes differ slightly from previously released numbers. The new seasonal factors will be used throughout 2025.
