Launched on 1 October, Breww's new AI assistant integration lets breweries access operational data and complete everyday tasks using familiar AI tools, at no additional Breww cost.
Brewery management software provider Breww launched a new AI assistant integration on 1 October 2026, enabling breweries to connect their operational data directly to tools including ChatGPT and Claude.
From identifying customers who haven't ordered recently to checking stock levels, reviewing fermentation readings and creating draft orders, brewery teams can now ask questions and complete supported tasks using everyday language.
Rather than introducing another standalone AI tool, Breww's integration allows breweries to use compatible AI assistants they're already familiar with, connecting them directly to the information held in their brewery management software.
Breweries manage a huge amount of information across production, inventory, customers and sales. But finding the right answer can still mean navigating multiple screens, building reports or piecing together information from different records.
Breww's integration offers a more straightforward way to access and use that information.
For example, brewery teams can ask:
Sales: Which customers haven't ordered in the last 60 days, and what do they usually buy?
Inventory: Which ingredients and packaging materials are approaching their expiry dates?
Production: What's currently in each vessel, and what are the latest fermentation readings?
Orders: Can you create a draft order for a customer?
The difference is that the integration doesn't stop at providing answers.
With the appropriate access enabled, AI assistants can also create draft orders and record fermentation readings directly in Breww, helping brewery teams move from finding information to getting things done.
The integration uses Model Context Protocol (MCP), an open standard that allows compatible AI assistants to connect to external software.
This gives breweries flexibility to choose the tools they want to use, while continuing to manage their operations in Breww. There's no need for custom development or API keys to establish a supported connection.
Administrators control which assistants can connect, with the option to grant read-only or read-and-write access. Connections can be reviewed and revoked at any time.
As with any third-party AI service, breweries should review the provider's data-handling policies and verify important information before acting on AI-generated responses.
The integration has been available since 1 October 2026 and is included in every Breww subscription plan at no additional charge.
Breweries need their own account with a compatible AI assistant, which may have separate subscription requirements.
For teams already exploring how AI could support their brewery, the integration offers a practical way to get more value from the information they're collecting every day, without changing the software they use to run their business.
