UNM Bookstores to host Beat the Aggies Sale ahead of Rio Grande Rivalry
The University of New Mexico Bookstores is rallying Lobo fans ahead of this year's Rio Grande Rivalry, offering a Beat the Aggies Sale on Friday, Sept. 26 in-store and online.
The special promotion will give the Lobo community 30% off all UNM clothing, gifts and accessories as they gear up for the matchup with New Mexico State University on Saturday, Sept. 27, at University Stadium at 2 p.m.
The annual showdown between UNM and NMSU is one of the state's most anticipated sporting events. This year's matchup comes as the Lobos are riding early-season momentum. Under new Head Coach Jason Eck, UNM has jumped to a 2-1 start, including a decisive 35-10 win over UCLA at the Rose Bowl on Sept. 12 and a 32-22 victory over Idaho State on Sept. 6.
The Beat the Aggies Sale will run at the Central Campus Bookstore, the Medical/Legal Bookstore and online at bookstore.unm.edu all day Sept. 26.
