ATF Adds to Reward for Information on the Murder of Fisk Student Andre Bell

As Homicide Unit detectives pursue leads to identify the person who fatally shot Fisk University student Andre Bell on I-65 north at the I-40 east junction last Sunday night, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of the individual(s) involved. The ATF reward is in addition to Nashville Crime Stoppers' reward of up to $5,000.

Bell was driving his white Nissan Sentra back to campus with two fellow students after leaving a gymnastics event at the fairgrounds when a dark colored sedan pulled alongside the Sentra. Someone in that car started shooting. Bell suffered a wound to his head and died on Monday morning. The motive for this violence has not been determined.

Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and will be given a code number for reward purposes.
