Notice of Utility Tariff Filing
The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Norgasco, Inc. (Norgasco) filed TA100-406, seeking Commission approval of a Gas Sales Agreement (GSA) between Norgasco and North Slope Gas Services, LLC (NSGS). The GSA has an initial term ending January 1, 2037, with the opportunity for two additional five-year extensions. Norgasco requested Commission approval of the GSA on or before April 14, 2026, with an effective date of May 1, 2026.
The GSA provides for a maximum daily quantity (MDQ) of 10,000 MMBtu, with the daily contract quantity (DCQ) including all gas purchased by Norgasco and produced by NSGS each day, up to the MDQ. The annual contract quantity is the sum of all DCQs but may be adjusted subject to other conditions. If Norgasco does not take its annual contract quantity within each year, it must compensate NSGS for all untaken volumes. The initial contract price is $3.00/MMBtu, which will increase to $6.16/MMbtu on January 1, 2027. On January 1, 2029, and each year thereafter, the contract price will be adjusted by the lesser of three percent, or the percentage increase in the consumer price index in the preceding year.
