Today, CHC Helicopter published its second annual Sustainability Statement, reaffirming its commitment to responsible growth and long-term resilience across the aviation industry.
Covering the 2025 financial year, the statement outlines CHC's progress in embedding environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into its operations. It demonstrates a deepened focus on measurable outcomes, transparent reporting, and responsible business practices.
Built around three core pillars - taking care of our people, our business, and the environment - the report reflects a year of meaningful progress since the launch of our inaugural Sustainability Statement in 2024.
Taking care of our people
In FY25, CHC continued to champion inclusive workplaces, support mental and physical wellness, and invest in fair, meaningful employment. Our efforts focused on creating a safe, respectful environment where every team member can thrive.
CHC maintained proactive safety training across our operations, celebrated 343 colleagues through a global employee recognition program, and developed cultural initiatives to reinforce the business' core values - accountability, collaboration, care, integrity, and excellence.
Our teams also played a vital role in their local communities contributing through charity work, volunteering, and broader engagement efforts. Beyond our contracted search and rescue and emergency medical services in Australia, Ireland, and Norway, CHC crews regularly support customers and local authorities during natural disasters. This year's statement highlights missions in Brazil and Australia, where our teams responded to floods and cyclones by delivering aid and rescuing people at risk.
These actions reflect the deep commitment of our teams to the communities we are proud to be a part of.
Taking care of our business
CHC is committed to ethical, transparent operations underpinned by strong governance and a zero-tolerance approach to corruption and bribery. Its compliance framework includes clear policies, controls, and oversight mechanisms designed to safeguard all aspects of the business and its value chain. This system is regularly reviewed to ensure effectiveness and alignment with global best practices.
In FY25, CHC advanced its ESG strategy by agreeing to establish an ESG Committee chaired by CEO Tom Burke. The committee will guide integration of environmental, social, and governance principles into corporate decision-making, with senior leadership accountable for progress on climate impact, social responsibility, and ethical supply chain management. This strengthens CHC's commitment to sustainable growth and long-term value creation.
Taking care of the environment
CHC continues to reduce its environmental impact through operational efficiencies and the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), saving over 700 tCO₂e on contracted flights in FY25. It maintained ISO 14001 compliance and recorded zero reportable environmental spills across all business units.
For the fifth year, CHC voluntarily disclosed climate-related data and risks to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), supporting transparency and progress tracking. The business also backed local offsetting projects in Brazil and remains committed to achieving net-zero Scope 1 emissions by 2050. These efforts are grounded in practical action and long-term accountability.
This latest Sustainability Statement renews the business' commitment to innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement to build a more resilient future for its people, the business, and our planet.
