Geisinger to host free hernia screenings and information sessions

COAL TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Join Geisinger for free hernia screenings and information sessions on Wednesday, Sept. 9, at Geisinger Specialty Care Shamokin.

Two sessions are available. The first begins at 5 p.m. and the second at 6:30 p.m. Each session will include a brief presentation covering hernia signs and symptoms, and the importance of early detection and treatment options, followed by private hernia screenings.

If a hernia is identified, Geisinger staff can help attendees with possible next steps.

Space is limited. Register for either session at go.geisinger.org/herniascreening.

Screenings will be held at 4203 Hospital Drive, Coal Township, Suite 3 of the Ressler Building.
