The City of Cambridge is notifying residents, businesses, and visitors of street closures and travel impacts on
Sunday, March 29, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to about 11:00 a.m. due to the Spring Classic 5K.
The race will start and finish at MIT's University Park Commons (64 Sidney St). Please note that this year's race will follow a new route - see
the route map here for more information.
People traveling through the area should follow posted detour signage, plan ahead, and consider using alternative routes or modes of transportation during this time.
The Cambridge Police and MIT Police will be providing detail police officers to assure the safety of the runners. For questions or concerns, please contact Paul Clark at [email protected].
