Dr. Grier Williams School of Music to present the Symphonic Band in concert
The University of West Florida Dr. Grier Williams School of Music proudly announces its Symphonic and Concert Bands' first concert of the 2026-27 season, titled "Forms." Under the direction of Dr. Sean Kelley, the concert will be held on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 2 p.m. at Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church, 75 Fairpoint Drive, Gulf Breeze, FL.
The concert will showcase performances by both the UWF Concert Band and Symphonic Band, presenting an engaging program including "Choose Joy" by Randall Standridge, "Whispers of Beyond" by Rossano Galante, "Smetana Fanfare" by Karol Husa and "Second Suite in F" by Gustav Holst. Dr. Kelley will lead both ensembles.
