One-Way Traffic Control Next Week

Calaveras County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will conduct the following one-way traffic control next week on State Route 4 (SR-4), SR-12, and SR-26 for maintenance and construction operations. Work is scheduled as follows:

State Route 4

• One-way traffic control from Bonanza Mine Way to Appaloosa Road for highway construction work beginning Monday, September 22, through Thursday, September 25, from 7:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m., and on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 7:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Mitchler Avenue to Big Trees Road/Tom Bell Road for median work beginning Sunday, September 21, through Friday, September 26, 2025, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
• One-way traffic control at Angles Road for utility work beginning Wednesday, September 24, through Friday, September 26, 2025, from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

State Route 12

• One-way traffic control from Messing Road to West SR-26/Laurel Street for highway construction work beginning Wednesday, September 24, through Thursday, September 25, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Whelisma Railroad Crossing to Messing Road for highway construction work on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

State Route 26

• Long-term, one-way traffic control from Gill Haven Drive to Rich Gulch Lane for highway construction work through Wednesday, December 31, 2025.
• One-way traffic control at South Fork Mokelumne River Bridge for construction work beginning Monday, September 22, through Thursday, September 25, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Pine Crest Lane to Centennial Mine Road for tree work on Monday, September 22, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Upper Dorray Road to Ealey Road for tree work on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Main Street/West Point to Winton Road for tree work on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Prindle Road to Happy Valley Road for tree work on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
• One-way traffic control from Niderost Lane to Centennial Mine Road for tree work on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
