WASHINGTON - The American Gas Association Board of Directors has elected Sid McAnnally, President & Chief Executive Officer of ONE Gas, Inc., to serve as Chair of the AGA Board of Directors for 2026. ONE Gas, which includes Kansas Gas Service, Oklahoma Natural Gas and Texas Gas Service, is headquartered in Tulsa, Okla. and provides natural gas distribution services to more than 2.3 million customers.
"Natural gas delivers affordable and reliable energy to families and businesses, supports manufacturing and technology growth and helps to reduce emissions," said McAnnally. "As artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing and new economic development opportunities drive growing energy needs, natural gas utilities are focused on planning, maintenance and modernization to dependably serve customers."
McAnnally continued, "I'm honored to chair AGA's Board in 2026 and to work with our member companies to strengthen the infrastructure that serves communities and our economy every day. Together, we will continue to advance reliability, affordability and innovation as we meet America's surging energy needs."
McAnnally brings extensive leadership experience to the helm of AGA's board of directors. As President and CEO of ONE Gas, Inc., he leads one of the nation's premier natural gas distribution companies, with a focus on operational excellence, continuous improvement and community partnership. McAnnally joined ONE Gas in 2015 as senior vice president of operations and has served as president and CEO since June 2021.
