News Release Date: September 14, 2026

SHILOH, Tenn. -
On Sept. 26, Shiloh National Military Park invites the public to join the nation's largest single-day volunteer effort for National Public Lands Day. Come lend a hand, connect with your public lands and help preserve them for generations to come.

This year, volunteers at Shiloh will spread mulch at the Corinth Contraband Camp. The event will run from 9 a.m. to noon. Volunteers should dress for outdoor work and bring plenty of water.

Please call the Corinth Civil War Interpretive Center at 662-287-9273 to register.

Since 1994, National Public Lands Day has been held annually on the fourth Saturday of September. This year's theme is "Caring for Our Shared America" in celebration of our nation's 250th anniversary.
