Red, White and Flight: Behind the Scenes of Star Spangled Fourth

The newest episode of the City of Goodyear's video podcast, Inside Goodyear, is now available. This special Fourth of July edition takes listeners behind the scenes of one of the city's most popular annual traditions: the Star Spangled Fourth celebration at Goodyear Ballpark.

This episode offers an inside look at the preparation and teamwork behind the event's signature attraction, the spectacular drone show produced by Sky Elements Drone Shows. The episode features an interview with Sky Elements President and CEO Rick Boss, who shares how his team brings the high-tech aerial display to life and what it takes to synchronize hundreds of drones into a patriotic performance.

"The show in Goodyear easily has 80-100 hours worth of just design and animation work involved in it", said Sky Elements President and CEO Rick Boss. "It's a very collaborative effort between Goodyear and our creative team."
