St. Louis Work Zones January 1-7, 2026

ST. LOUIS - Drivers in Wentzville should be aware of a closure next week near Interstate 70 which may require them to determine alternate routes.

The Missouri Department of Transportation will close Route Z under Interstate 70 in Wentzville as part of the Improve I-70 Warrenton to Wentzville Project overnight starting Mon., Jan. 5, 2026, through Fri., Jan. 9, 2026. All work is weather permitting.

Route Z will be closed nightly from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. for drainage work on Route Z underneath I-70. All entrance and exit ramps at Route Z will remain open.

This work is part of the reconstruction of Interstate 70 with adding a third lane in each direction and the realignment of I-70 between Wentzville Parkway and Route Z.

Drivers heading into the city of St. Louis on Interstate 44 next week may want to consider alternate routes or allow extra time during upcoming pavements repairs.

Weather permitting, crews will close two lanes on eastbound I-44 between Kingshighway and 39th Street from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. each day Monday, January 5. 2026, through Thursday, January 8, 2026.

Motorists should be aware of the following ongoing closures:

  • I-55, St. Louis City, one southbound lane closed from I-44 to north of Bates and two southbound lanes closed north of Bates to north of Weber through early 2026.
  • I-55, St. Louis City and County, one northbound lane closed from north of Reavis Barracks to north of Bayless and two northbound lanes closed from north of Bayless to Virginia through early 2026.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Virginia to southbound is closed through early 2026.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from southbound to Loughborough and the Loughborough on-ramp to southbound will be closed through early 2026.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Lafayette/Truman to southbound is closed through early 2026.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from Germania to northbound is closed through early 2026.
  • I-55, St. Louis City, the ramp from southbound to Germania is through early 2026.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, various northbound and southbound lanes narrowed between I-64 and Olive through early 2026.
  • I-270. St. Louis County, Conway Rd. under I-270 closed.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, westbound exit ramp to Riverview Drive closed.
  • I-270, St. Louis County, on-ramp from Riverview Drive to westbound I-270 closed.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, northbound and southbound Route 67 loop ramps to Route D closed. Route D westbound and eastbound loop ramps to Route 67 closed.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, one northbound and one southbound lane closed at Route D.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, one lane closed at Lynn Haven/Taylor.
  • Route 67, St. Louis County, one northbound lane closed from Washington to St. Ferdinand.
  • Route 100, St. Louis County, one eastbound left lane between Barrett Station Rad and Westmark Drive closed through summer 2026.

  • Route N, St. Louis County, one lane closed southbound from south of I-70 to Augusta.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one lane permanently closed northbound from Route 115 to Bermuda.
  • Route N, St. Louis County, one northbound lane closed from Signal Hill Dr. to Bernhardt Ave.
  • I-64, St. Charles County, North Outer Road/Technology Drive bridge closed through spring 2026.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, intersection of I-55 and Route 67 closed.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, one lane of northbound/southbound I-55 closed from Route 67 to Route Z.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, three left turn lanes closed at McNutt under the interstate. Traffic will move to the outside lanes. Drivers will be able to make a left turn onto the interstate ramp.
  • I-55, Jefferson County, Route CC fully closed at Route 67. No access to 67 on both sides of the intersection.
  • Route 67, Jefferson County, one southbound lane closed at I-55.
  • Route Z, Jefferson County, three middle lanes closed in the center of Route Z. All traffic is pushed to the outside lanes.
  • Route MM, Franklin County, all lanes closed between Route T and Coleman Road.
