Austin ISD to host 2026 Summer Teacher Career Fair (En español)

Austin ISD is looking for excited, passionate educators for the 2026-27 school year. Certified teachers interested in joining our team are invited to attend the Austin ISD Teacher Career Fair this summer.

Applicants will have a chance to meet with principals, connect with the Austin ISD team and learn what it means when you call Austin ISD your home.

We're hiring Certified Teachers for crucial vacancies across campuses:

  • Bilingual
  • Special Ed
  • Science 6-12
  • Math 6-12

At Austin ISD employees have access to personalized learning, leadership pathways and growth opportunities.

Why Austin ISD?

  • $7,000 annual stipend for Certified Bilingual & Special Education Teachers + an additional $500 for SBS, Life Skills, SCORES teachers
  • Earn up to $29,000 per year through the Teacher Incentive Allotment
  • Plus Texas Teacher Retirement and Social Security
