ICANN to Host Question-and-Answer Sessions for New gTLD Applicants

The New Generic Top-Level Domains (gTLD) Program: 2026 Round opens on 30 April. In the run-up, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) is focusing on ensuring that all who wish to participate are prepared to take part in the program.

Along with making a variety of support resources available, ICANN is hosting a new webinar series dedicated to answering questions about the TLD Application Management System (TAMS) and other aspects of the 2026 Round gTLD application process. TAMS is the online system used by applicants, ICANN staff, and evaluation panelists to manage, process, and submit new gTLD applications. While the focus of the webinars will be on how to use TAMS, potential applicants are invited to pose questions on other aspects of the gTLD application and evaluation processes as well.

Pre-submitted questions will be prioritized during the four webinars. Attendees are invited to submit questions using this submission form.

About ICANN

ICANN's mission is to help ensure a stable, secure, and unified global Internet. To reach another person on the Internet, you need to type an address - a name or a number - into your computer or other device. That address must be unique so computers know where to find each other. ICANN helps coordinate and support these unique identifiers across the world. ICANN was formed in 1998 as a nonprofit public benefit corporation with a community of participants from all over the world.
