September 2026 Investor News

As we all know, the public sector faces increasing service delivery demands, workforce shortages, financial pressures, and complex data processes. Government IT leaders recognize the opportunity to embrace AI but can lack clarity on how to approach it effectively.

In a recent e-book, AI for Impact: Proven Results for Government, Tyler describes how AI helps government workers deal with an overwhelming workload. For example, in Dallas County, Texas, AI-assisted document processing helps court employees keep up with e-filing volumes while maintaining quality. Internally for agencies, AI can automate labor-intensive processes, manage large volumes of information, and help employees work more efficiently.

Externally, AI can provide residents with faster, more convenient, and improved access to government services. This point is illustrated in a recent press release detailing how South Carolina has expanded access to these services with Tyler's Resident AI Assistant. Instead of employees spending time answering repetitive questions about DMV services, courts, taxes, and other government programs, the AI assistant can answer many of those questions immediately. South Carolina reports that its assistant, "Bradley," has answered more than 38,000 questions from over 10,800 users, with an 82.2% first-contact resolution rate.

These resources underscore that AI has a dual role in modern government. Internally, AI can automate labor-intensive processes, manage large volumes of information, and help employees work more efficiently. Externally, AI can provide residents with faster, more convenient, and more accessible access to government services. Tyler CFO Brian Miller comments on Tyler's recent acquisition of CODY Systems.

Tyler recently acquired CODY Systems, a provider of cloud-native public safety software and data-sharing solutions. The acquisition strengthens Tyler's position in the small and midsize public safety market, adds more than 300 clients across 10 states, and advances our cloud-first strategy with the addition of Pathfinder RMS, a modern cloud-native records management platform, and COBRAnet, a statewide information-sharing solution.

Beyond expanding our addressable market, CODY Systems enhances Tyler's cloud modernization and Cloud Living strategy, creates new cross-sell opportunities, and strengthens our ability to deliver connected, mission-critical solutions that improve interoperability, efficiency, and decision-making for public safety agencies. The acquisition also expands our reach in a highly fragmented market where agencies increasingly prioritize cloud-native technology, real-time information access, and cross-agency collaboration.

We believe the acquisition further reinforces Tyler's leadership position and long-term growth opportunity in one of our most strategic vertical markets. Importantly, CODY Systems' cloud-native architecture aligns closely with Tyler's long-term vision for cloud modernization and Cloud Living approach.

Tyler's corporate responsibility program centers on materiality and takes an approach of continuous improvement. During 2026, Institutional Shareholder Services (ISS) recognized our efforts with a Corporate Rating upgrade from C to C+, further solidifying our Prime Corporate Rating status and acknowledging our transparency. Additionally, MSCI published updates showing incremental score improvements and again identified Tyler as a corporate responsibility leader in the software and services sector with an AA rating. The AA rating reflects above average performance in managing financially material corporate governance, social, and environmental risks and opportunities. We are committed to delivering value to our stakeholders as we execute against our mission to empower the public sector to create smarter, safer, and stronger communities.
