EUMAM MOZ monitors the requalification process of Forward Air Controllers TACP MOZ of the Mozambican Air Force

This is a decisive step in ensuring the maintenance of operational capability in the field of close air support. Designed for personnel who successfully completed the Forward Air Controller course and who are currently assigned to the TACP MOZ unit, this requalification ensures the continuity of operational qualifications, guaranteeing that controllers remain fully capable of performing their duties safely and effectively.

Throughout the process, technical, physical and operational requirements are assessed, alongside strict compliance with the Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTPs) established in the officially approved doctrine for the Mozambican Forward Air Controller. The evaluation includes both theoretical and practical components, reinforcing standardisation and the quality of operational performance.

Within the framework of its non-executive mandate, currently in force until June 2026, EUMAM MOZ follows and supports the operational training cycle of the Mozambican Defence Armed Forces (FADM), promoting the consolidation of technical competencies and the maintenance of high levels of readiness.
