NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION

LAS 33884

Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that the North Pacific Seafoods Inc., P.O. Box 10, Naknek, Alaska 99633 applied for a permit to appropriate water on October 25, 2021 (Priority Date). The application proposes the following:

The withdrawal of up to 25,000 gallons per day from April 1st through August 31st each year from a drilled well, 222 feet in depth, located within the Southeast ¼ of the Southeast ¼ of Section 32, Township 16 South, Range 46 West, U.S. Survey 878, Seward Meridian, in the Bristol Bay Recording District, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska.

The proposed purpose of use is to provide domestic water to the work camp at the Red Salmon Cannery.

The proposed place of use is the work camp at the Red Salmon Cannery. Said property being located within Section 1, Township 17 South, Range 47 West, U.S. Survey 878, Seward Meridian, in the Bristol Bay Recording District, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska.

Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above listed address or to [email protected] by 5:00 p.m. 15 days after publication or service of notice. Objection must include the objector's name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation.
