Two charged with felonies in theft of firearms case

1. REBECCA BEAUPRE Age: Address: 82 Pitts Hill Road, Salem NY

2. TANYA N. ELLISON Age: 36 Address: 226 River Road, Cambridge NY

INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested Rebecca Beaupre (24) and Tanya Ellison (34) after an investigation into stolen firearms from a residence in the Town of Hebron in May of 2025. Beaupre was arrested on May 22nd after the execution of a Search Warrant at a residence in the Village of Whitehall. Beaupre was charged with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a class E Felony.

She is currently incarcerated at the Washington County Jail on this charge and other unrelated charges. Tanya N. Ellison was arrested on September 12th for Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a class E Felony. Ellison was issued an Appearance Ticket with a future court appearance scheduled for Hebron Town Court.
