Rhythm & Sound Machine makes debut
Wayne Ferguson Plaza will be filled with the music of Gloria Estefan when Rhythm & Sound Machine makes its Sounds of Lewisville debut, Tuesday, June 9, in Wayne Ferguson Plaza, 150 W. Church Street.
This amazing group is THE extraordinary tribute to the music of Gloria Estefan & Miami Sound Machine. It's a tight group comprised of professional, veteran musicians and loves bringing their passion for various Latin music...to the masses.
El Chanclazo Duo is the opening act for this concert. This also will be their Sounds of Lewisville debut.
Concerts start at 7 p.m. every Tuesday night in May and June. Opening acts will perform 7-7:45 p.m., and headliners will perform 8-9:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for their comfort. Well-behaved pets on a leash are allowed at the shows. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in Wayne Ferguson Plaza.
The award-winning Wayne Ferguson Plaza is a 1.5-acre urban park that takes on a contemporary sweeping gesture using water to link east to west and united Lewisville City Hall and Lewisville Grand Theater. It features an elevated stage, a multi-level seating area, and a garden filled with swathes of native grasses and wildflowers.
To reach the concert sites from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east along Main Street to Charles Street. Lewisville Grand Theater will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Charles streets, or at Lewisville City Hall.
