Honoring Our Heroes and Their Families

We owe everything to those who serve and protect us - the brave men and women who dedicate their lives to safeguarding our freedoms. November is Military Family Month, which means the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment of support from military families is extra important to celebrate.

Behind every service member stands a family whose strength often goes unseen. Military families face unique challenges: long deployments, constant change, and the uncertainty that comes with service. Yet through it all, they remain resilient, steadfast, and full of love.

Today and every day, House Minority Leader Tony McCombie extends her deepest gratitude not only to our heroes in uniform but also to the incredible families who support them. She encourages Illinoisans to join her in recognizing and celebrating the strength, sacrifice, and devotion of military families across the state.
