The North Port Parks & Recreation Department is accepting applications for entries in the annual Poinsettia Parade, presented by Quality TV, on Dec. 6, 2025, at 5 p.m. The beloved North Port tradition will bring holiday cheer to the community with this year's storybook-inspired theme, "Once Upon a North Port Holiday."

The parade will travel south along Sumter Boulevard and conclude at the City Center Front Green, 4970 City Hall Blvd., where the Poinsettia Festival, presented by Resurrection Pools, will take place from 3 to 7 p.m. Both spectator admission and parking are free.

Parade participation is open to businesses, organizations and individuals. The entry fee is $30, with no charge for government entities, active U.S. military, or qualifying nonprofits with 501(c)(3) status. Past parades have featured more than 50 creative units, and participants are encouraged to dress in theme to bring the storybook holiday celebration to life.

Applications for parade entries are available online at NorthPortFL.gov/Poinsettia, under "Parade Unit Application & information."

Sponsorship opportunities Sponsorship opportunities are also available for businesses seeking to engage with families and connect with the community. Tiered packages provide brand visibility to more than 10,000 attendees and help support one of North Port's signature holiday events. For sponsorship details, contact Kimberly Lencki, Community Partnership and Engagement Manager, at 941-429-7143 or [email protected].

Thank you to our sponsors and community partners: Quality TV, Resurrection Pools, Wharton-Smith, Inc., Crews Bank & Trust, Dean McConville State Farm, Seymour Smiles Orthodontics, Lowes, Mazda of Port Charlotte, North Port Area Chamber of Commerce, Sarasota County, and Wawa.
