Courtheyn co-authors introduction for book forum article
Christopher Courtheyn, associate professor in the College of Education and Public Service, co-authored the introduction for an article on Yousuf Al-Bulushi's 2024 book, "Ruptures in the Afterlife of the Apartheid City," as part of an online series recapping a book forum featured at the 2025 meeting of the Association of American Geographers in Detroit.
The article, published online in the urban studies journal Metropolitics, features scholarly commentaries on the book, which examines urban development in post-Apartheid Durban, South Africa.
