Apptronik receives approximately $4.2 million secondary investment

Apptronik, the Austin-based developer of the Apollo humanoid robot, has completed an approximately $4.2 million secondary share transaction, with Aegis Capital Corp. serving as placement agent and Sichenzia Ross Ference Carmel LLP acting as legal counsel to Aegis.

The transaction involved the purchase of existing shares rather than the issuance of new equity, providing investors with additional access to the privately held robotics company.

Apptronik develops AI-powered humanoid robots for manufacturing, logistics and future healthcare and home applications. The company, which spun out of the Human Centered Robotics Lab at the University of Texas at Austin, has grown to approximately 350 employees as it advances its Apollo platform amid rising investor interest in the rapidly expanding humanoid robotics sector.
