The City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services (PRCS) Department has rescheduled its Music in the Park event for Thursday, Sept. 10 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Piñon Valley Park, 5585 Mule Deer Drive.
The free community event, originally scheduled for July 24 as part of the City's Park and Recreation Month celebration, was postponed due to weather. Residents are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets and the whole family for an evening of live music and activities in the park.
The event begins at 6 p.m. with food trucks and registration for the youth kickball game. Music and the kickball game begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by giveaways at 7:15 p.m. Participants must be present to win. The event concludes at 8 p.m.
