REVISED: Lane closures on NB MO 291 for bridge deck replacement in Clay County, July 16 - Dec. 2026

CLAY COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct single lane closures on northbound MO 291 over the CPKC railroad in Liberty, MO for bridge deck replacement operations beginning on Thurs., July 16 until December 2026. A width restriction of 12' OSOW will be in place. All work is weather permitting.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
