Peake Federal Credit Union Announces Three Leadership Moves Across Operations, Risk, and Finance

Peake Federal Credit Union (Peake) has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Carmen David Mirabile as Chief Operating Officer and Simone Sterling as Vice President of Compliance and Risk, both newly created roles, and the promotion of Keith Seeley from Vice President of Finance to Chief Financial Officer.

"Carmen, Simone and Keith contribute experience and expertise across several disciplines, including operations, community engagement, risk, and finance, all areas that are essential to Peake's future and our ability to deliver even greater value to our members," said Stacie Sloan, President and CEO of Peake Federal Credit Union. "Expanding our leadership team is an important next step in Peake's growth while keeping us focused on what matters most: serving our members and their evolving needs."

Carmen brings more than 30 years of executive and leadership experience driving growth, innovation, and organizational transformation across financial services, retail, healthcare, nonprofit, and agency sectors. With more than 14 years of executive leadership in the credit union movement, he brings a deep understanding of the industry and a proven record of strengthening organizations and creating meaningful member value. He holds an MBA in Organizational Management from Eastern University, a BBA in Marketing from Loyola University, and has served in leadership roles with several credit unions and community organizations.

Simone joins the team with more than 18 years of financial services experience, including more than 13 years in the credit union industry. Her background across operations, compliance, fraud, audit, and enterprise risk brings a practical perspective to protecting members while supporting effective, responsible growth as the credit union continues to evolve. She holds a Bachelor of Education in Business and Computer Studies from the University of Technology, Kingston, Jamaica. In addition, Sterling has earned the Certified Credit Union Internal Auditor (CCUIA), Certified Credit Union Compliance Officer (CUCO), and Credit Union Enterprise Risk Certification (CUERC) designations and has led security and authorization improvements during a core conversion.

After serving as Vice President of Finance, Keith has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer. With more than 15 years of financial institution experience, including extensive experience in auditing, he brings a strong background in financial reporting, risk management, and strategic financial planning. Prior to joining the credit union, Keith served as a Principal of Rowles & Company, where he led the firm's credit union practice and worked extensively with credit unions on financial reporting, compliance, and industry-specific matters. During his tenure as Vice President of Finance, Keith helped strengthen the credit union's financial operations, reporting processes, and long-term financial planning. As Chief Financial Officer, he will play an expanded role in maintaining the credit union's financial strength, supporting strategic initiatives, and positioning the organization for continued growth.
