Nominations Open for 2026 Legends in Manufacturing Awards

DES MOINES, Iowa - The Iowa Association of Business and Industry (ABI), through its Elevate Iowa Manufacturing initiative, is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Legends in Manufacturing Awards.

The awards recognize up to four individuals whose leadership, innovation and dedication have helped shape Iowa's manufacturing industry. Honorees are selected for their lasting contributions to their companies, employees and communities, as well as their impact on Iowa's economy.

"Manufacturing plays a critical role in Iowa's economy, creating opportunities for more than 215,000 Iowans and strengthening our communities," said Nicole Crain, ABI President. "The Legends in Manufacturing Awards are an opportunity to celebrate the individuals whose commitment and leadership have advanced the industry and positively influenced Iowa's manufacturing community."

Nominations are open to the public and must be submitted by September 1, 2026. There is no limit to the number of nominations an individual may submit.

The 2026 Legends in Manufacturing Awards are presented by Nyemaster. Awardees will be celebrated on October 13 at Prairie Meadows in Altoona during ABI's Iowa Manufacturing Conference.
