Apply for the 2026-27 Youth Climate Advisory Board

Are you attending a high school in Palo Alto in the 2026-2027 school year? If you have a passion for sustainability and climate action, consider joining the Youth Climate Advisory Board (YCAB)! The 2026-2027 YCAB cohort will build on the two years of work from previous cohorts, contribute to the City's climate and sustainability initiatives, bring sustainability efforts to local high schools, middle and elementary schools, and collaborate with City leaders.
All students attending high schools in Palo Alto (both public and private schools) are encouraged to apply, regardless of past experience. This includes anyone in 8th grade going into high school. Applications are due Sunday, June 14.
