COLUMBIA, MO - Today, U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO) applauded the Trump Administration's appointment of five Missourians to serve on the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Missouri Farm Service Agency (FSA) State Committee. Senator Schmitt worked closely with Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins and Missouri FSA State Director Ronnie Russell to nominate experienced agricultural leaders to continue support of President Trump's Farmers First commitment.
The individuals appointed to serve on Missouri's USDA FSA State Committee are: Chairwoman Robin Wenneker, Neal Bredehoeft, Barry Kagay, Kate Lambert, and Josh Worthington.
"I'm grateful to the Trump Administration and Secretary Rollins for appointing five exceptional Missourians with decades of hands-on, real-world experience. I am confident in their expertise and ability to support Missouri farmers and ranchers as they continue to feed, fuel, and clothe the world", said Senator Schmitt.
The FSA committee members help Missouri farmers and ranchers invest in and expand agricultural operations, oversee farm programs, resolve program delivery appeals, and maintain cooperative relations with industry stakeholders.
