Art Museum of WVU offers media preview of largest exhibition on record

WHAT: The Art Museum of West Virginia University invites media members to a preview of "Blanche Lazzell: Becoming an American Modernist." The first exhibition from the Art Museum of WVU to tour the nation, it celebrates University alum Lazzell, who was born in and lived just outside of Morgantown, and her revolutionary printmaking work.

WHEN: Monday, Aug. 17, 11 a.m.

WHERE: The Art Museum of WVU, 20 Fine Arts Drive, Morgantown

WHO: Robert Bridges, curator, Art Museum of WVU

NOTES: Parking is available across from the Museum Education Center in the lots below Evansdale Crossing.

Individual media interviews will be available at the preview and cannot be guaranteed at the exhibition's opening on Aug. 21, or other events.
