HEIDI WHITCOMB NAMED CHAIR OF CASA PACIFICA BOARD OF DIRECTORS

CAMARILLO, Calif., July 28, 2026 - Casa Pacifica Centers for Children and Families has announced that Heidi Whitcomb, second-generation former co-owner of Ventura Rental Center Inc. and a longtime community leader and supporter of Casa Pacifica, has been named Chair of its Board of Directors. Whitcomb previously served as Vice Chair of the Board and brings extensive business, nonprofit and volunteer leadership experience to her new role.

For more than four decades, Whitcomb has helped lead Ventura Rental Center Inc.'s event rental division, now known as Ventura Rental Inc., building a distinguished career as a business leader and event industry professional. Throughout her career, she has designed and coordinated thousands of events ranging from intimate family gatherings to large-scale events serving more than 8,000 guests. Her extensive professional experience in event management, business leadership and community engagement has earned her national recognition within the event industry.

A longtime advocate for community involvement, Whitcomb has helped support and coordinate community events, nonprofit fundraisers and other initiatives throughout the region. Her community involvement has included supporting organizations and events such as the Casa Pacifica Angels Wine, Food & Brew Festival, Care for Kids Golf Classic, Makea-A-Wish, Community Memorial Hospital, Mesa Farm and other nonprofit causes. She has also served as a Court Appointed Special Advocate, advocating for children involved in the child welfare system.

As Chair, Whitcomb will lead Casa Pacifica's Board of Directors in providing governance, strategic guidance and support for the organization's mission. The Board works closely with Casa Pacifica leadership to help ensure the organization remains strong, responsive and prepared to meet the evolving behavioral health needs of the children, young adults and families it serves.

Whitcomb succeeds Robert Wynner, Esq., Partner at Nevers, Palazzo, Packard, Wildermuth & Wynner, who served as Chair from 2021-2026.

As Whitcomb begins her term as Board Chair, she will help guide an organization that has grown into a regional leader in children's and adolescent behavioral health care. As the largest nonprofit provider of children's and adolescent mental health services in Ventura and Santa Barbara counties, Casa Pacifica provides care to children, young adults and families through a continuum of outpatient, residential, home- and community-based services.
