COLUMBUS-State Representative Gayle Manning (R-Avon) is pleased to announce that the Ohio Controlling Board recently approved the release of $115,000 to support renovations across several Lorain Safe Harbor facilities serving survivors of domestic violence in Lorain County.
Renovations include a new roof at the community outreach facility and a new parking lot at the child advocacy center, along with other improvements.
Lorain Safe Harbor provides outreach and wraparound services to survivors of domestic violence and their families. The program is available 24/7 and offers on-site support tailored to the specific needs of those impacted.
"These facilities are critical to victims of domestic violence and their families," said Manning. "These renovations will continue to ensure Ohioans receive the services and care they need."
