BEFORE THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION OF MARYLAND
IN THE MATTER OF THE APPLICATION OF SYNCARPHA THURMONT, LLC FOR A CERTIFICATE OF PUBLIC CONVENIENCE AND NECESSITY TO CONSTRUCT A 5.0 MW SOLAR PHOTO-VOLTAIC GENERATING FACILITY IN FREDERICK COUNTY, MARYLAND, CASE NO. 9885
NOTICE OF PRE-HEARING CONFERENCE
A pre-hearing conference in the above-entitled matter is scheduled for Thursday, September 24, 2026 at 9:30 a.m., concerning Syncarpha Thurmont, LLC's application for a certificate of public convenience and necessity to construct a 5.0 MW solar photovoltaic generating facility in Frederick County, Maryland.
The Project is anticipated to occupy an approximately 35.1-acre portion of a 62.6-acre property located on Old Kiln Road, about 0.4 miles northeast from the intersection of Old Kiln Road and Roddy Road, Thurmont, Frederick County, Maryland (as described by Tax Map 14, Grid 19, Parcel 206).
At the pre-hearing conference, any preliminary matters and the establishment of a procedural schedule will be discussed. The pre-hearing conference will be held virtually and streamed live for viewing via the PULJ Division's YouTube Channel. http://www.youtube.com/@mdpscpuljs327.
Petitions to intervene must be filed on or before Monday, September 21, 2026, and may be filed electronically through the Commission's website at https://psc.maryland.gov or sent by first-class mail to the Commission's Executive Secretary, Andrew S.
