TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - I-95 / Route 896 Interchange - Upcoming Closures
I-95 / ROUTE 896 INTERCHANGE - UPCOMING CLOSURES
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) alerts motorists that there will be overnight lane closures on northbound and southbound I-95 from the service plaza to the toll plaza, overnight ramp closures on the Route 896 southbound on-ramp to I-95 northbound, around-the-clock ramp closures and lane shifts on the I-95 southbound to north and southbound Route 896 and lane closures on Route 72 northbound.

I-95 northbound from Route 896 Interchange to the service plaza - overnight lane closure for milling and paving
October 26 from 6:00 p.m. to October 27 at 7:00 a.m.
I-95 southbound from the service plaza to Route 896 Interchange - overnight shoulder and lane closure for paving
October 26 from 7:00 p.m. to October 27 at 7:00 a.m.
Route 896 southbound on ramp to I-95 northbound - daytime lane shift for drainage work and overnight ramp closure

Single lane closure, October 26 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
