The Christ Hospital Health Network Turns October Billboards Over to Breast Cancer Survivors

CINCINNATI (October 1, 2026) - This October, The Christ Hospital Health Network is turning over its digital billboards to breast cancer survivors across Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky as part of a community-wide Breast Cancer Awareness Month campaign.

Throughout the month, the health network will feature local survivors on digital billboards across the region. Each billboard will pair a survivor's photo with three words that describe who she is beyond her diagnosis - such as "Mom. Artist. Dog Lover." - followed by "Breast Cancer Survivor." The campaign is designed to celebrate the full lives, passions and identities of women who have experienced breast cancer.

"Breast cancer may be part of someone's story, but it is not her whole story," said Jenny Collopy, Vice President and Chief Marketing and Communications Officer at The Christ Hospital Health Network. "For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to use one of our most visible platforms to celebrate survivors as the mothers, grandmothers, friends, professionals, artists, runners and so many other things that make them who they are."

The campaign is open to breast cancer survivors throughout the community, regardless of where they received care. Through a social media call for nominations, community members can nominate a survivor they love - or survivors can nominate themselves - for the opportunity to be featured. Those selected will be asked to submit a favorite photo and three words that describe them. Digital billboard creative will rotate throughout October to spotlight as many survivors as possible.

The billboard takeover will be supported by social media content and survivor stories throughout Breast Cancer Awareness Month, along with education about breast health, screening and breast cancer care. The Christ Hospital Health Network will also share moments from the campaign as survivors see themselves celebrated across the region.
