The Breaking Limitations, Accepting Zero Excuses (BLAZE) Mentoring Program is partnering with the First Responders Children's Foundation, Invocation, and Solaren to present the BLAZE Last Minute Toy Express for a third year.
This event is free, and open to children ages 3-18, with the intentions of ensuring that no child in the city goes without having something to open and enjoy throughout the holiday break.
This store was conceptualized after families reached out to the Nashville Fire Department reporting they missed all the earlier events in the month and had nothing to celebrate with days before the holidays.
Last year, BLAZE was able to serve approximately 350 youth days before Christmas. Registrations have already exceeded 650 youth and is closed as of today.
