Mayor Muriel Bowser issued the following statement on the passing of Mathew McCollough, the Director of the Office of Disability Rights

"It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Mathew McCollough, Director of the Office of Disability Rights. Mat served with extraordinary dedication and compassion in public service, and his leadership made a lasting impact on both our government and the disability community. His career reflected his deep belief in dignity, opportunity, and respect for every individual.
