As the Fall Election Season Begins, Democrats To Build on Momentum From “Organizing Summer” Blitz Arrow

While Republicans turned their back on their own constituents to pass Republicans' Tax Scam - and then didn't have the guts to face them afterward - Democrats took up the challenge to do what Republicans refused: meet voters across the country and listen to their concerns.

This summer, the DNC, DCCC, DSCC, DGA, and ASDC launched "Organizing Summer," an all-out organizing blitz to build Democratic power across the country that will carry Democrats to victory in 2025, 2026, and beyond. All summer long, Americans across the country showed up and showed out to hold Trump and congressional Republicans responsible for ripping away health care from 15 million Americans, taking food assistance away from 22 million families, and putting hospitals and medical centers in rural areas at risk of closure - all so the richest Americans can get richer.

This summer, Democrats:

• Hosted 150 events this summer in 47 states
• Signed up over 15,000 volunteers for action this summer alone
• Contacted 1,650,000 voters over the summer through our events
• Held a national "Weekend of Action" with events targeting the DCCC's 35 offensive districts in-play aimed at activating over 1,000 volunteers to take action against Trump and Republicans through phone banks, canvases, townhalls, and protests.
• Sent mobile billboard trucks to three county fairs in PA-08, MI-07, and NJ-07 to call out Reps. Rob Bresnahan, Tom Barrett, and Tom Kean Jr. for voting to benefit billionaires over working people in their districts.
• Launched a digital ad campaign targeting Rep. Andy Barr in KY-06, Rep. Max Miller in OH-07, Rep. Jen Kiggans in VA-02, and Rep. Ashley Hinson in IA-02 that mobilized voters in their districts to join the DNC's Weekend of Action organizing effort.

Now, Democrats are entering the fall election season with important upcoming elections in Virginia, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and California. Make no mistake: Democrats are building momentum and turbocharging grassroots organizing efforts while winning elections across the country in 2025.

As "Organizing Summer" comes to a close and the 2025 election season officially begins, DNC Chair Ken Martin released the following statement:

"This summer, Americans across the country showed up to organize and hold Republicans accountable for their disastrous vote on Trump's budget betrayal. The DNC and ASDC held over 150 events in 47 states and territories, signing up thousands of volunteers across the country who are ready to fight for Democrats. As we head to the fall elections, momentum is on our side. After winning or overperforming in 39 out of 40 elections so far this year, Democrats are ready to sweep the November 2025 elections and win the midterms in 2026."

DCCC Chair Suzan DelBene: "When House Republicans were ordered to effectively hide from their constituents, it speaks volumes that pretty much all of them fell in line. Why? Because Republicans are running scared from the public, and know that their support for the Big, Ugly Law will be the defining issue that will cost them their seats. What we saw this summer was voters from across the country stand up and speak out against the Republican agenda that is ripping health care away from millions, threatening rural hospitals, and jacking up energy bills. The massive turnout and energy channeled by the "organizing summer" is the foundation we'll build on to re-take the House Majority in 2026."

DSCC Chair Kirsten Gillibrand: "In every corner of the country, grassroots enthusiasm is growing and backlash is building against the toxic Republican agenda that is spiking costs and threatening health care for millions of Americans. Democrats refuse to sit by and watch as Senate Republicans rob Medicaid to pay for billionaire tax breaks. All summer long, voters have held town halls, organized in their communities, and made their voices heard: They are fired up to hold Republicans accountable at the ballot box in 2026."
