Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Claudia Tenney (NY-24) today released her 2026 Second Amendment Plan, outlining her legislative priorities to defend the Constitutional rights of law-abiding gun owners, combat New York State's anti-Second Amendment policies, protect privacy and due process, and safeguard Americans' right to keep and bear arms.
The 2026 Second Amendment Plan highlights Congresswoman Tenney's efforts to strengthen protections for lawful gun owners by opposing unconstitutional firearm restrictions, protecting the privacy and due process rights of gun owners, expanding access to firearms for law-abiding citizens, and preventing government overreach that infringes on the Second Amendment. The plan also reaffirms Tenney's commitment to defending Constitutional freedoms, supporting sportsmen, hunters, veterans, and responsible gun owners, and ensuring future generations of Americans can exercise their right to keep and bear arms.
"The Second Amendment is a fundamental Constitutional right that protects every law-abiding American's ability to defend themselves, their families, and their freedoms," said Congresswoman Tenney. "Anti-gun politicians in Albany and Washington have tried to chip away at this right with burdensome regulations and unconstitutional restrictions that target responsible gun owners instead of criminals. My 2026 Second Amendment Plan outlines a commonsense approach to protecting the rights of law-abiding citizens, defending privacy and due process, and ensuring future generations of Americans can continue exercising the freedoms guaranteed by our Constitution."
