Twilight Movie Party - The Twilight Saga: New Moon

Continue the Twilight saga with an interactive Alamo Drafthouse Movie Party featuring a live host, themed props and giveaways-perfect for shouting your allegiance to Team Edward or Team Jacob. Expect themed props like a La Push bumper sticker as a keepsake to remember where you've been, mini desk calendars and custom band aids.

In the Name of Love...Rhythm and Blues on Tap

Inspired by the timeless sound of Motown, In the Name of Love offers a fresh perspective on a generation of music that captured hearts around the world. Featuring world-renowned tap dancers and a live jazz band, this dynamic production brings rhythm and blues to life in a vibrant, soulful celebration of movement and music.

Stuffies Storytime & Slumber Party

Bring your favorite stuffed animal or toy to the Richardson Public Library's special stuffie storytime, then hug your friend goodbye before they spend the night at the Library. Don't forget to check the Library's Facebook and Instagram pages to see all the fun they're having. This program is for ages 3 and older. Limit one toy per child. Pick up your stuffie or toy the following morning.

Shen Yun: A Heavenly Gift

Shen Yun invites you to travel back to the magical world of ancient China. Experience a lost culture through the incredible art of classical Chinese dance, and see the legends come to life. Shen Yun makes this possible by pushing the boundaries of the performing arts, with a unique blend of stunning costuming, high-tech backdrops and an orchestra like no other.

Teen Program - Lord of the Throne, A Fantasy Murder Mystery

The king has summoned you to attend a round table at Hydrock Castle to discuss matters of state, but upon your arrival something is amiss - the famed and fleetfooted centauress, Lefqwen of Abinark, usually first to arrive, has failed to show. In Hydrock, unexpected events usually mean only one thing - murder. This Richardson Public Library-sponsored program is for teens ages 13-18 only.

Computing 101

This is a class for absolute beginners to gain fundamental computing skills. Participants will learn how to navigate a Windows 11 laptop or desktop personal computer, how to operate the basic hardware and peripherals used by computers, how to locate all the tools you need to adjust a computer's settings, what to consider when managing your privacy in Windows 11, and a few tips on how to do your own future troubleshooting. This Richardson Public Library Sponsored program is for adults and teens 13 and older.

Groundbreakers: Post-War Japan and Korea from the DMA Collection

"Groundbreakers" brings together artists who played with materiality, space and performance in postwar Japan and Korea after the 1950s. This exhibition is organized by The University of Texas at Dallas in collaboration with The Dallas Museum of Art.
