Residence Life seeks volunteers for fall move-in

Fall move-in is almost here! We anticipate a large group of students arriving on Thursday, Aug. 20 and Friday, Aug. 21, and volunteers are welcome! Move-in is hard work, but if you have close-toed shoes and want to roll up your sleeves, consider volunteering! Volunteers may be asked to assist with moving boxes, pulling carts, breaking down cardboard, collecting trash, etc.

We're looking for volunteers for morning and/or afternoon shifts on both dates--select them all or mix and match--any help is appreciated! Registration opens Monday, Aug. 10 and closes on Monday, Aug. 17, 2026 at 12 p.m. All participants will be required to complete a Smartwaiver, and will receive the Smartwaiver link and Move-in Day instructions upon completion of registration.

Please note: Individuals may register to volunteer by completing the move-in volunteer registration form and will be assigned to a specific move-in area for the assigned shift. Although groups of volunteers may represent an organization or department, they must register individually, and we cannot guarantee placement with other group members during volunteer shifts!
