I am extremely proud to welcome Icelandair to MIA for its first-ever service in Miami-Dade County. Icelandair's expansion into South Florida with nonstop Miami-Reykjavik flights now gives our residents direct access to the majestic natural beauty of Iceland and continues expanding our airport's connections throughout the world.

Our new Airbus A321LR aircraft enables us to fly to destinations that were previously out of reach, and Miami is a perfect example. This route also creates convenient connections for travelers from Miami to our 38 destinations in Europe via Iceland-and vice versa. We look forward to welcoming Miami aboard!
