The Portland Police Bureau seeks the public's assistance in finding a missing 11 year old boy. Caidyn "Joseph" Dexter just moved to Portland with his mother. They are staying at a hotel in the 11900 Block of Northeast Sandy Boulevard. On June 16, 2026, at about 4:15 p.m., Caidyn left the hotel headed westbound on the south side of Northeast Sandy Boulevard with a backpack and a basketball. Caidyn's mother believed he was going to play but he has not yet returned home.

Caidyn is described as African-American male, 11 years old, approximately 5'3" tall, weighing about 150 lbs., with short dark hair, last seen carrying a basketball and possibly black backpack and wearing a pink Nike headband and a light gray shirt and shorts. Caidyn does not have money or a cell phone with him and is unfamiliar with the area.
